Organic and ecological porters of Morocco

There is an exception in the manufacture of pottery in Morocco, the pottery manufactured in the RIF in the north of this country. This pottery is made by women craftsmen with an ancestral technique, completely different. The potters mount the red clay to the columbines, that is to say, without a tower. This rural pottery contains neither varnish nor paint and has exceptional properties, it is healthy (since there is no varnish), 100% clay. The making a terracotta dish is done in traditional ovens, each family has its own oven, the heating of an oven is a long and studious operation, the cooking lasts about 12h because it is necessary and allows the oven to cool before emptying. Tajines or cooking dishes are made in this way which allows a slow, healthy, tasty, simple cooking with an undisputed flavor. Lhadara imports and resells these tajines and dishes of terracotta cooking, they are found in many organic shops in France.

The Moroccan tajine :

The most widespread of Moroccan pottery is undoubtedly tajine, but also the traditional Moroccan ashtray with its ball shape which are usually made in Safi, Fes, or Rabat.
