About ARTCHITECTURAL HERITAGE
The houses of Figuig are built following the same plan as the Roman villas. A central courtyard concentrates the life of the house. It is surrounded by a courtyard with columns and arcades. Built on several floors of bricks of dried land and palm wood, this traditional home isolates the house from the cold as from heat. The raw wood adorns the ceilings between the arches. These ancient habitats are mingled with the renovated facades of iron and wood.
