More than a thousand Jews of Moroccan origin, from several countries in Europe, Israel and the United States, celebrated Hiloula last week at the sanctuaries of Rabbi Yahya Lakhdar in Bni Hmed and Rabbi Abraham Aouriour, Of kilometers of Settat. The feast of Hiloula at the sanctuaries of Rabbi Yahya Lakhdar and Rabbi Abraham Aouriour was marked by the presence of a large number of young Jews who came to commemorate the religious festival, celebrated every year, 33 days after Pesach. The celebration began last Friday in several sanctuaries of Jewish saints throughout Morocco. The first day is devoted to meetings between pilgrims and the second day of fasting. During the third day, the Jewish pilgrims organize prayers and an auction of lighted candles around the sanctuary.
